Admission Procedure

 The admission process can be broadly divided into the following steps:

  • The desired course & university needs to be decided on the requisite English proficiency tests like IELTS/ PTE/ TOEFL.
  • Entry Requirements are to be followed
  • Certificates of Class 10 & 12, Graduation (if Applicable),PG as Well as grades of English proficiency test are to be kept ready
  • Applications to be sent to Colleges/Universities
  • After sending the applications , candidates can expect to receive either a conditional offer/ unconditional offer/ rejection.
  • The Unconditional Offer letter needs to be accepted by Payment of preliminary deposits as required by the particular university/ institution

Above cost includes Tuition, food, accommodation during study term on campus.

Usually in Switzerland the course fee includes your meals, accommodation, and health insurance during the academic study on campus.

However an average monthly living expense is Rs 60,000 to 90000. Living expenses cover accommodation, three meals per day utility bills, and local travel. Though, it varies depending on the city & country you live and your lifestyle.

You cannot work part time during academic term.  However most courses offer you internship opportunity with guaranteed stipend of Rs. 1.50 lakhs per month.

There is no arrangement of post study work visa. However you are offered job placement assistance worldwide

If you want to come to Switzerland to study at a university, you will need to apply for a national D visa. For summer courses and language schools you will need to apply for short-term Schengen visa.

The national languages of Switzerland are German, French, Italian, and Romansh. Have in mind that English is not one of Switzerland’s national languages.

Yes, not only will you need it, it’s compulsory if you’re staying for more than three months. Although Switzerland has free universal healthcare, that only applies to Swiss citizens.

You are advised to get private health insurance within three months of being in the country. Your health insurance will cover hospitalization and medical treatment costs. However, you will still have to pay around 10% of the overall medical treatment cost annually.
