Bachelor Of Arts Entrance Exam ?

Admission to some BA colleges like BHU, Sharda University, etc is possible through the following entrance exams. Following are a few of them: 

  • NPAT: This exam is for admission in BA Liberal Arts, apart from other undergraduate courses in NMIMS.
  • BHU UET: This exam is for admission to Banaras Hindu University which offers BA (Hons.) and BA in Social Science courses.
  • CUCET: This exam is for admission in central universities across India, like Haryana, Rajasthan, Kerala, etc.
  • TISS BATTata Institute of Social Science conducts this exam for admission into BA in Social Science.
  • SUAT: This exam is conducted by Sharda University for admission into BA in English, Pol Science, Sociology, History, etc.
  • DUET: This exam is for admission in the BA course at Delhi University.

 

BA Course Eligibility ?

Basic BA eligibility is 40% in Class XII. But this is not enough to get admission to a good college. You need to score at least 90% if your aim is Delhi University, Mumbai University, or other prestigious universities.

Scope of Higher Education After BA ?

After completion of the BA program, you can go for higher education. Students can study MAB.EdLLBMBA, or professional diploma courses for the best opportunities in the job industry, in both government and private sectors.

Bachelor of Arts is an undergraduate program of 3 years and considered one of the most followed courses in India, accounting for more than 9 million students.

You can choose from many subjects like – Philosophy, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Literature, and other Humanities, Social Science and Liberal Arts subjects.

BA Admission usually takes place based on merit, but several entrance exams like NPAT, BHU UET are also there.

You need to study 5 compulsory subjects, along with a few electives. Students can select subjects from a wide variety of options.
